Rules of Engagement

1. POLICY ON CHEATING
RN members shall NOT cheat.
RN members should not use glitches or bugs during public games.
If a member of RN is accused of cheating or using glitches, the member will be subjected
to examination by a leader; this could result in the member being discharged, banned
and a place in our Hall of Shame.

• CHEAT: ANY ALTERATION OF THE OFFICIAL GAME CODE AND ASSOCIATED FILES OR ANY USE OF A
PROGRAM THAT IS MEANT TO ALTER THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE GAME IN A WAY THAT GIVES AN
ADVANTAGE TO PLAYERS USING IT.
• GLITCH/BUG: USING ANY MALFUNCTION OF A GAME WHICH INHIBITS FAIR PLAY AND IS ADVANTAGEOUS
TO THE PLAYER USING IT.

2. CODE OF CONDUCT
RN members should respect each other regardless of their origin, nationality, age, gender,
race and religious

beliefs or creed.
RN members should respect non-RN players in the same way as RN members.
RN members should show dignity, honour and integrity outside of RN. Any insult towards
the member, another RN member or RN
as a whole are to be ignored and left uncommented. RN does not need to defend itself.
No RN member will swear or curse extensively on Ventrilo or Game servers.
(Just don't overdo it)
No RN member will disturb the peace or be annoying to other members on Ventrillo
or Game servers.
All RN members with admin rights should maintain order on public game servers.
Punishment System:
RN members who do not follow the Rules of Engagement are subject to our punishing system
If an issue can be resolved on a reasonable and friendly basis, it has the first choice.
But justice will be done.

Only in extreme cases a Leader will warn the member of their misdemeanor's and it will be
the first and final warning.
If the same member does the same again. The Leaders will decide on the punishment.
If the RN member is punished for any reason, he/she will have a mark/strike added to
his/hers profile. 3 strikes and your out!!
If one of the misdemeanour's involve cheating, the only punishment is dismissal,
ban and Hall of Shame

3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Once a RN member, always a RoughNeck. We are not just a clan, but your learned game play
is a way of life.
Members will respect and uphold the RN rules and respect the leadership as well as the
RN leadership will respect their members and uphold the rules.

4. THE RN WAY
RN members play hard and dirty.
RN members fight on the front of war.
Once a full RN member, you will be referred to as a RoughNeck for life. Semper Fi soldiers!!!
RN is a group of dedicated gamers. But first of all, we try to be friends.
If an issue can be resolved on a reasonable and friendly basis, it has the first choice.
RN accepts ALL real life needs and commitments.
RN will not ask any member to put RN before real life.

5. COMMITMENT TO RN
All recruits and members must follow the clan rules.
All recruits and members will respect the structure and chain of command in this clan.
All RN members are in a constant mode of training regardless of their individual skill level.
All members must constantly search for new recruits.
Events that have been declared mandatory must be attended unless excused on the forum prior
to the event. Multiple un-excused absences can lead to dismissal of the member.

6. COMMUNICATIONS
Communications are an important part of RN. The official language is English. In private,
dedicated channels or when no other nationality's are present on the Ventrilo channel, it's
allowed to speak the native tongue.
Knowing and speaking understandable English is mandatory when joining the clan.
In order to communicate with other RN members you are required to have a microphone and the
Ventrilo application.
