Angry Face are a collection of mature-minded social gamers, who originally came together in the TUMATAUENGA social squad, in the COD4 Division of another gaming group.

Tumatauenga is the name of a Maori God of War and the name translates to Tu of the Angry Face. As the four founding members of AF had formed strong ties and friendships with the Tumatauenga squad we adopted the Angry Face part of the name. Also, in armies of both Ancient and Modern cultures, troops would often don War Paint and Masks and put on their "Angry Face" before going into battle. So we feel it's a very apt name for the fierce fighting machine we're building. ;-)

If you're looking for a highly competitive group, where it's all practice and competing in tournaments, then this is not the place for you.

AF is a place where mature gamers can play without the annoyance of immature attitudes. A place to crack open a cold tinnie, relax and forge friendships with like minded gamers, where teamwork is appreciated and fun is mandatory.

The age of our members ranges from mid 20's to late 50's (and beyond). As a general guide, to apply for membership you should be at least 20 years of age with a mature outlook towards online multiplayer gaming. At this time, Junior Members (15 to 19 years of age) MUST be an immediate relative of a Full Financial Member and will be considered by referral from that member only. We are primarily an Australian group and our servers are located in Australia, although we will accept members from anywhere in the world, overseas and/or high ping memberships must be limited in order to keep our servers running smoothly.

Above all else, our primary goal is to keep the group free from intrusive "politics" and provide a fun, pressure free gaming experience.
