Platoon Presentation

The History of the Swordsmen Platoon or S1 begins with its formation during the Wake Island Campaign of BF1942, and continues to the present day. It includes their early operations in Karkand, Daqing Oilfields, and the Gulf of Oman. They then returned to the interwebz and were formed into a clan with two British, two French and one Belgian members. The S1 clan then conducted operations in Zatar Wetlands, Jalalabad, and finally in Dragon Valley.

After the war the S1 were disbanded only to be reformed as a World of Warcraft Guild, which then led onto the formation of the BF3 S1 Platoon. The new platoon has taken part in most of the Interwebz small wars since then. However the Ministry of Defence does not comment on S1 matters, therefore little verifiable information exists in the public domain on the platoons recent activities.

At first, service in the S1 was considered an end to a gamers genre exploration, however in recent years S1 troops have risen to the highest ranks in several different Games and Genres. General Joucan Suqadiq [S1]-=[Suqadiq]=- was the Commander-in-Chief of the French Foreign Legion in the 1990 Gulf War. General Amnorta Jerkov [S1]PWnK!ng became commander of the United Nations Protection Force in Bosnia in 1994. In 1997 General John Smith [S1]Player became Chief of the Defence Staff the head of the British Armed Forces. Lieutenant-General Cecoq Anetit [S1]P00finger was the Commander of the Field Army and Deputy Commander in Chief NATO Regional Headquarters Allied Forces Northern Europe (RHQ AFNORTH) in 2002–2003.
