At the Battle of Hoth, the 4th squad was part of the battalion under the command of Major Bren Derlin, and was commanded by Corporal Jobin, the son of Mon Mothma.
Stationed at Echo Station 5-7, a post meant to stall the Imperial Army long enough for the Rebellion to evacuate the base. The post was eventually overrun by All Terrain Armored Transports and Juggernauts,
but not before Jobin took the 4th squad back to the Rebels' planetary ion cannon
in order to prevent its capture by Imperial forces.
They stormed the cannon and were able to save Rebel shuttles by disabling an Imperial Star Destroyer.
Their warning: "Imperial troops have entered the base," prompted Princess Leia to order the final evacuation of
Hoth.

Corporal Jorbin was killed by Darth Vader and only two men survived the battle.
