In April 1991, shortly after Operation Desert Storm, a group of elite military operatives were selected for several classified missions. These missions were to be outside the normal chain of command and therefore to some were considered illegal. When any task is too great for conventional forces or other special operations units have failed, the military calls on this highly classified unit to complete the mission.

Their saga has taken them from the world of Black Ops to numerous new Battlefields. With the help of numerous civilian military contractors this band of brothers charge head long towards the enemy and continue to carry the fight to America's foes.

Their legend has grown over the years and so has their unit's code name. The rest of the world calls them crazy. To those in the know, they are simply known as SECTION 8.
