Platoon Presentation

'East Asia-Pacific Corp' (EAPC)

This platoon is dedicated to applying realistic military tactics and communications in-game to further enhance our experience in Battlefield 3.

We welcome members from (but not limited to) the ASEAN / EAS countries.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Members of the EAPC are expected to follow a chain of command (in a 32 players team) in-game such as:
'Squad Leaders' are either randomly selected or
are the ranking members expected to lead their
squad to attack of defend specific targets or
secure an area. (*)
'Platoon Sergeants' are in charge of 2 squads
typically in larger maps. They are responsible for
directing up to 8 players in concert with the
general strategy.
'Platoon Leaders' are in charge of 3-4 squads
in smaller maps to coordinate up to 16 players
engaging in an attacking or defending role.
'Commander' is the most senior position
responsible for applying strategy and issuing
orders to Platoon Sergeants/Leaders in a match.
~~~

* If a Platoon Sergeant/Leader is in the squad,
he/she will play the role of Squad Leader as well.

~~~
Pilots / Drivers:
Any player controlling an aerial or ground vehicle is expected to give support on demand, otherwise is free to engage any target he/she sees.
Jet and Attack Helicopter pilots are especially required to assist in counter-vehicle roles by request.
Helicopter pilots are encouraged to minimize engagement and focus on transporting troops to specified areas or search and destroy routine within controlled territories in 'Conquest' maps.
Tank drivers should mainly engage other ground vehicles unless specified to support infantries.
LAVs are used in a defensive role or performing search and destroy within controlled territories in 'Conquest' maps.
