Platoon Presentation

Welcome to TRU! ...the next generation of SA

We are a close group of gamers that have various skills on the battlefield. We have 3 core values that make up our name:

1. Teamwork
2. Respect
3. Unity

These 3 core values we embody all while maintaining a fun, tight knit COMMUNITY environment. We have a belief in that quality > quantity and we always look to maintain that. We don’t just add people to the team to make up numbers. You can rest assured that every member of TRU will strive to play by these core values. Activity and Loyalty is also a plus. No one likes clan hoppers.

Note to all Leaders:

Recruitment for all new member prospects will be held every Saturday night, times may vary. All leaders are urged but not required to be available for Recruitment Night.

All new member prospects are required to play at least 2 rounds with a minimum of 4 leaders.
~One round on a small map, Metro, Bazaar, Seine, etc.
~One round on a large map, Caspian, Firestorm, Kharg, etc.

Once this has been completed, those Leaders that played with the prospect will decide whether or not they are right for TRU. Decisions should be based on player performance, player attitude, and compatibility with existing members. Remember guys, we are looking for quality, not quantity.

 Platoon Leader Criteria:

The role of a Leader in this platoon is going to differ from most platoons. In so much, a Leader is going to be exactly what the title implies. Someone who can lead their squad, or if need be, the entire team to victory.

Leaders are expected to do the following...

*1) Always turn on Team-Chat and stay in contact with other Leaders on their team.

*2) Be able to assign roles and/or positions to teammates on the fly depending on the current situation.

*3) Expected to know their teammates strong points and play them to the teams advantage, and if the game permits, assign them roles that will help improve their weak points.

*4) Leaders are required to learn/create/know the various location designations for all maps and assist with teaching them to fellow members and leaders.

5) Leaders will always treat fellow members with respect. There are no excuses or exceptions.

*****These are expected of Leaders during Clan Battles/Tournament Matches. Not for public matches*****

With any amount of great power or influence comes great responsibility. Leaders will be the eyes and ears for the platoon. Any situation between 2 or more members is preferred to be handled amongst themselves. If that is not possible, Leaders are expected to act as a mediator between members and attempt to resolve the situation swiftly and discretely. Never should 2 or more members be pitted against each other in a “he said/she said” manner. Nor should any Leader ever take sides in a situation.
