Looking for a serious, "play to win" Battlefield clan? Look no further. The 82nd Gaming Regiment wants you!
Hello, I'm R3V1NE S1L3NCE. I assist in running the 82nd Gaming Regiment on Battlefield 3 with the owner, MaNtIcHoRa. I have a great amount of experience in Battlefield. But enough about our friendly administration, lets get to what you want to hear.
The 82nd Gaming Regiment is not only a Battlefield clan but stretches over a wide variety of Xbox 360 games, from shooters to RPGs and more! However this post is for those who play Battlefield 3. We can run n' gun like any other stupid call of duty amateur. The clan uses military tactics from most branches of the U.S. military and establishes different squads based off of each individuals skill set. You could own in a jet and be assigned a flying partner in the other jet then have one recon SOFLAM specialist and one skillful Javelin engineer, everyone there in an effort to rule the air. Your simple tryout will allow the leaders to provide you with multiple options on what field you will be assigned. Don't assume that it is all in what the leaders think. Though this won't determine which field you are assigned, you may suggest or request to be placed in a specific field. Members may take on a multiple field role and train in different fields to gain more and more experience and be available to participate on every map and in multiple game modes.
The ranking system is identical to the ranks of Battlefield 3 (http://www.ign.com/wikis/battlefield-3/Ranks). However, your current rank does not determine what your rank is in the clan. Your clan rank is determined by the leader and the skill level you show in tryouts and your role in the field.
The 82nd Gaming Regiment attempts to not be terribly strict with their requirements. However it is strongly recommended to have a working microphone via microphone, turtle beaches, or kinect (as long as noise level in background noise is minimal). In addition, to maximize your playing time, Battlefield Premium or at least ownership of the expansion packs is recommended. We prefer mature gamers with a decent amount of experience. Each member is expected to respect every other member regardless of current situation. We will not tolerate drama and fighting within the clan. Team killing is unacceptable also.
All in all, if you play Battlefield, are seeking a great clan, and absolutely despise Call of Duty multiplayer players, you have come to the right place.
