The GRU was established in 2013 as a competitive online gaming team, specializing at Battlefield 3 on the XBOX 360.

We believe in a inclusive approach to online gaming with a fun but mature atmosphere where members feel at home and are encouraged to develop themselves further, rather than being penalised for mistakes.

At GRU their are 3 key stages.

1. GRU (Glavnoye Razvedyvatel'noye Upravleniye) This is our main clan. your clan tags are GRU here. It is also were new members can play with other new members of the same skill. This is were you will spend your time on your 2 week trial.

2. (GRU Boot Camp) This is were upon wanting to join SPETSNAZ GRU you will be sent. hear you will learn you trade in BF3.
The training here is intense. As we want to mould you in to an elite killing machine.
When myself and my officers think your ready to join SPETSNAZ GRU we will ask you. On completion of your training you will be asked to change your Tags from GRU to USSR. Congrats your a member of our elite fighting force.

3. Our Elite Squad, SPETSNAZ GRU This is for our top members in our 1st team.

Training
As a member of the motherlands most elite forces I am looking for members who can play as a team and not for themselves. who don't mind training on empty severs over and over again till we get it right. I like to keep things authentic and use Russian weapon's when we can. training will consist of team siege of buildings, cammos, corner work and a whole variety of extras.
The most important aspect to SPETSNAZ GRU is the 'TEAM' aspect as we believe that no one individual is bigger than the team.So if you the kinda person who jumps in to a plain every time its free, leaving your team to fight on the ground. WERE NOT THE CLAN FOR YOU. Were also are looking for players with good communication skills. This is vital to our game play, as we plan or entering the Europe ladders soon.
