Elite Ops Unit Intel:

EOU is Purportedly an SOC Taskforce affiliated with The United States Special Operations Command or USSOCOM (unconfirmed).

EOU has not been publicly acknowledged but is believed to be internationally active in no less than two dozen countries. By utilizing only Tier-1 Operatives from various branches of the Armed Forces and Government Agencies*, EOU integrates these various strengths into a smaller unit. For lack of a better term or intel, non-members without clearance often mistakenly refer to EOU as OGA (Other Government Agency). EOU Operatives are tasked for only the highest priority missions. Teamwork is the Legacy of EOU.

*EOU does not employ Mercs. All EOU members are subject to the Military Code of Conduct.



Background: USSOCOM is the Unified Combatant Command charged with overseeing the various Special Operations Commands (SOC or SOCOM) of the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps of the United States Armed Forces. The Command is part of the DoD.

USSOCOM conducts several covert and clandestine missions, such as unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, psychological warfare, civil affairs, direct action and counter-terrorism among other operations. Each branch has a Special Operations Command (SOC) like the legendary EOU, that is unique and capable of running its own operations; but when the different Special Operations Forces need to work together for an operation, USSOCOM becomes the joint component command of the operation, instead of a SOC of a specific branch.
