THIS IS A 4V4 SQUAD RUSH LADDER TOURNAMENT FOR EU-BASED CLANS OUTSIDE THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF COMPETITIVE PLAY.

THIS TOURNAMENT IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO TEST YOUR CLAN'S TEAMWORK AND SKILLS AGAINST A SET OF TEAMS THAT CAN PUT UP A DECENT FIGHT, AND EARN SOME QUEDOS FOR YOUR PLATOON WALL.

WHO CAN ENTER
The ladder is open to any clans in the EU with a median KDR of less than 1.8, median SPM less than 700. Exceptions will be made for teams of good character that aim to bring something for everyone to the competition. US teams able to commit to playing between 2-5 pm EST (7-10 pm GMT/8-11 pm CET) will be given serious consideration.

HOW DOES IT WORK
This is a ladder system run through FraggedNation; ladder at:

This Ladder system works as a halfway-house between king-of-the-hill (beat someone, and you switch places in the ladder) and league (points for wins.) Teams are ranked by points; the more the team you beat has, the more points you make by beating them; the fewer points the team you lose to has, the more points you lose.

For added bragging points, if you beat the current "crown" holder, you become the crown holder (this has little impact on points.)

It's all a bit complicated, but it's ok - Fraggednation deals with it. Fight, report wins/loses, and FN will change your rank accordingly.

At the end of the season, there will be a playoff - semis for the top 4 teams if there are less than 10 teams, quarter-finals for the top 8 if there are 10 active teams or more.

Contact Craven_buzzkill or Unclemunter to join; if successful, you will be allowed to join this tournament clan and be given the ladder password to join.

I'VE JOINED, HOW DO I FIGHT?
Make a team in FN. You'll need to have at least 1 other member in it to challenge on the ladder. It's ok, you can bring anyone from your clan along. Join the ladder. Post challenges to other teams in the ladder; tell them you've done so in Battlelog, and arrange a date and time; then FIGHT, and report the result afterwards in FN.

I'VE AGREED TO PLAY ANOTHER TEAM, WHAT MAPS DO WE PLAY?
Whatever maps you agree. FN will generate 3 maps for you to play; if you and the opposition have agreed a different set of maps, disregard the FN choices and simply enter the real map results under the FN ones (2-1 win, 0-3 loss, whatever) .

if you can't agree on maps, you must use the FN maps to play the game.

MATCH RULES
-------------------------------
NO NON-PLATOON SUBS
No "friend of mine", non-platoon substitutions in the platoon match squads on match day. You gotta play people in your platoon - no inviting in any col100 buddies at the last minute, who aren't part of the clan (even if they change dog tags for the game.) And no bringing them into the platoon on matchday, then letting them leave once the game's done.

BANNED GUNS:
No shotguns, M26, or M320 (apart from smoke rounds.) No mortar. No HE: No C4, no RPG/SMAW, no HE X-bow bolts, no anti-tank mines. No claymores. No MAV or EoD bot.

GAME SETTINGS:
Games are played over 3 maps; each team has to attack and defend on each map. Wins per map are done by counting up games taken at the end of each map, then MCOMs. In the event both teams took the same number of games and MCOMs, the map is a draw. Draw results are allowed; if you wish to play a tie-breaker, that is entirely at the two teams' discretion to decide and agree. In the event of a draw and one team wants to play a tie-breaker, but the other does not, a draw is declared - tie-breakers will be played ONLY by mutual consent. Record the tie-breaker map result in FN as a win on the last map in the tie.

Games must be done in a competitive server, and game results posted here. Alternatively, BF3 "games" may be arranged through Battlelog, and again, their results posted here. In the event of a dispute, the tie's match reports will be reviewed by moderators to determine an outcome.

PENALTIES
Playing ineligible players (according to "NO NON-PLATOON SUBS") or using banned weaponry (even without fatalities, according to "BANNED GUNS") in a game of a match leads to that game being forfeited to the opposition. The next game in the match continues as normal.

INTENTIONAL TEAM DROP-OUTS are a forfeit of any remaining games, with the score being set to a win to the opposition for the remaining games.

UNINTENTIONAL DROP-OUTS/ONE-MAN RAGE QUITS DURING MATCH
If, during a game, a player from one team drops out mid-way through a round, that round should be played to completion with the players available. If a player(s) is still missing at the start of the next round, the round is put on hold until the other team can bring itself back to 4 members (drop-out rejoins or backup joins). If, after 15 minutes, the "small" team is still incomplete, the tie is given to the complete (full) team, and the score recorded as a win by default (set FN scores to 0-0 with team win set.) A team will also be considered incomplete if, for whatever reason, it has 3 members and a random that just joined in (so 4 members, 3 from the platoon and 1 random.)

KILLCAMS
Killcams should be on - since that's the default for servers, and the way that people are used to playing - but can be disengaged by mutual consent. Note, if two clans agree to turn the killcams off, stick a note on the issue on one of the clan leader's pages, or in here, and get the other clan leader to acknowledge it, to avoid misundertstandings.

SCORING
Scoring by results is done by MCOMs taken. So a game won as 2-1 wins on 3 maps has a final score of 6-3.

If you arrange, accept, and miss a game, your team loses by default.

Teams must arrange beforehand which server they will use to play (not a rule, just common sense.)
