In one of your 4 classes (Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon) you must use the basic guns (M16A3, AK-74M, M4A1, AKS-74U, etc.), and same goes for your sidearm (M9, MP443, M1911) You can have any attachments you want on it, and you can use the same gun(s) for Russian and American.
