This platoon is dedicated to the 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force of the United States Marine Corps.

For operations in WWII: (Battle of Okinawa and Battle of Guadalcanal Island)

For operations in Vietnam: (Battle of Hue, Chu Lai, Da Nang, Tam Ky, Que Son Valley)

And more recently, War in Iraq and Afghanistan: (2003 Invasion of Iraq, Al-Anbar Province Iraq in 2006/2007, & for operations in Helmand Province Afghanistan in 2011/2012)

2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment "Retreat, Hell!"

3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment "Dark Horse, Get Some"
