Danny's ZED
Platoon Presentation
In the battlefield death is inevitable. Your life is at least worth 2 men of the opposition. We may lose a brother in combat but know that whatever the enemy brings at us we inflict twice the damage. When you die, you die as heroes.
Trivia:
- The english letter "Z" is pronounced "ZED" in English speaking countries excluding the United States.
- Z is an acronym for dead. (e.g. Danny's dead; Danny's Deadmen, Danny's Dead platoon.
- The letter Z is the first letter of the word "zombie."
- As "deadmen" we accept death and that it is an inevitable result of war.
- Understand that our brothers and sisters on the battlefield died as humans but still live amongst us even after death through our own lives.
- Even though a comrade has fallen as a result of war their life is always remembered in our hearts and minds.
- As a platoon we fight for the brother and sister beside us and for their families that they leave behind to fight in the war.
- Having accepted death as ZED we die so that countless lives are saved and continuation of a new generation.
