Mid-Air Counter Penetration Defence League

First imagined by the blind John of Bohemia, the MACPDL was formalized into existence by an international summit, hosted by the House of Valois, as the first ever internationally drafted undercover initiative: its primary mandate to counter the various forms of exploitation normally associated with, but not limited to, mid-air penetration. Such an organization was deemed highly necessary after the horrendous worldwide conflict that was the Hundred Years’ War. Even today, the MACPDL shield of arms commemorate the year of its foundation, which coincides with the end of this devastating conflict, 1453. Never to forget their solemn creed, the shield is also a constant reminder of their never ending battle in two very distinct ways. First, the red symbolizes the spilt blood of the penetrators: the necessary mean to a justifiable end. Secondly, as can easily be recognized, the proud and innocent eagle is stopped dead in its flight by a vertical force of immense strength. The eagle, symbolizing all that is good, is mid-air penetrated.
Over the centuries, the MACPDL has impacted the world in various and far-reaching ways. Besides countering mid-air penetration, aspects of society ranging from economic policies, to technological paradigm shifts, owe its thanks to the League.
