A MAGTF (Marine Air-Ground Task Force) created for quick deployment and tactical capture of vital points during war in Europe and Middle East.

The 8th Marine Expeditionary Unit utilizes coordinated attacks consisting of organized Ground, Air and Naval forces.

The Ground forces major role is the capture of strategic points during war as well as the spotting of enemy armor to allow the air forces to bring close air support.

The Naval forces major role basically consists in quickly deploying ground units into the battlefield.

The Air forces major role is to bring close air support for the ground and naval units by eliminating enemy armor, both ground armor (Tanks, IFVs) and Air threats (Helicopters, Jets).

Looks like DICE might be implementing some platoon interface to the Xbox, I hope it does this will make entering games as a platoon easier
