The Iacta Alea Est is a small group of Battlefield gamers adherent to the Draconian Empire; a roleplaying and gaming community based on the principles of friendly, cooperative gaming and high-quality role-playing. Since its establishment in 1997, the Draconian Empire has been home to mature and devoted gamers from titles such as Blizzard's Diablo and StarCraft series, Neverwinter Nights, Warcraft III, World of Warcraft, LoTRO and as well as several other MMO's.

Away from cheaters, hackers, and griefers, the people of the Draconian Empire see themselves as a bastion of cooperative gaming, a haven for those who seek an enjoyable gaming experience - the way it was meant to be.

The Iacta Alea Est is our emerging community in Battlefield 3; operating upon the credos of teamwork and cooperation in a friendly and supportive environment. We play the objective and we do so as a team; supporting and supplementing each other, the way Battlefield should be played!

Draconia, the homeland of the guild, is set within the role-playing realm of Temmarendil, a fictional world with many nations. Differing from other role-playing or gaming guilds, the Draconian Empire bases itself on the rich history of the lands, carefully established by many writers and role-playing specialists, who have installed an atmosphere which can truly be announced as unique - you will not find such a rich history anywhere else. The borders of our lands are open, and travelers from near and far are welcome to immerse themselves!

Eight decades of chaos has plagued the lands, and a great price has been paid. Before the Empire of Draconia, a bastion of virtue and nobility, could even hope to recover from its battles, factions who rejected the Dragon Throne stepped in and claimed Draconian lands as their own. Thinking the Empire had fallen for good, each of these factions underestimated the unbreakable spirit of Draconia's people. Even now, heroes from far and wide are gathering in Dragonspire, preparing to head to the west to take the holy city back from the clutches of Lomion's Cult and the vile warriors who protect them.

The road ahead of us will not be one easily travelled. Hardships and great losses are in our future, but we will not abdicate; we will not surrender. We will restore our Empire, but we cannot accomplish such a feat without your help. The Dragon Throne now calls upon you, future lords and ladies, to stand with us as we forge a new path for ourselves. Fight with us as we reclaim our lost lands. Ally with us as we rebuild the Empire of Draconia.
