Our Mission:


Silent Soldiers is a Platoon where we work together and try to keep our team rolling. We do not expect all players to dedicate their lives to the game. Instead, we welcome players who want to play Battlefield with known players and friends. We are here to make each other better and encourage anyone who wants to be apart of a "team first" mentality.

We are trying to build a community for ALL games and not just Battlefield. What is more fun than playing every game that you have with friends?


About Us:


Silent soldiers was created by Highborn, gunn3r57, Wolf_the_Snarf, and soadsugarking. Our main goal was not to go competitive. Most of us do not have the time to be online 8 hours a day.

Instead, we felt that creating a structured Platoon was a great way for players with our same goal to join us on the battlefield to have a blast and be victorious. We will encourage anyone to join us in battle if you long for a community that looks at you as a friend and not just a foot soldier. Any rank and any KDR are free to join. We are hear to improve how we act as a team and not individuals. That is the true definition of teamwork.

*********Keep in mind; good skill can earn you a 4.0 KDR in a game, but it takes great skill and teamwork to give your WHOLE squad and/or team a 2.0.


Ranking:


We rank each member on seniority, skill, teamwork, leadership, and overall Platoon trust. All soldiers that are in the process of being promoted must be voted on by the Officers starting at Master Sergeant up to the General. The same goes for demotions; a majority vote must be reached. Remember, KDR does not mean everything. Teamwork is what is put the highest. Calling out targets, suggesting certain courses of action in the heat of battle, and taking control of leadership situations will ensure the fastest route to the top.

Each rank will report to the DIRECT leader above them.

*********Remember, rank does not mirror skill. Ranks merely give you the ability to lead your squad into battle instead of following one's footsteps. All ranks need to be fulfilled, so do not expect to be at the top in a few days. As our roster grows, the Platoon requires more leadership. The more players that join the Platoon, the more ranks that can be given. If you have any questions about ranks, don't be timid to ask. Any request for a promotion will be decided by the majority vote.

Roles of Ranks (ROR):

-Lance Corporal- New recruit. Basic squad member.
--Corporal-- Basic squad member. Earned trust of the platoon.
---Sergeant--- Basic squad leader. Gives orders to their SQUAD.
----Staff Sergeant---- Basic squad leader. Gives orders to their SQUAD. Answers all questions relating to platoon and recruiting.
..Master Sergeant.. CO of all Staff Sergeants. DO NOT possess the ability to bypass Sergeants to assume direct control of their subordinates. Included in majority votes.
=Warrant Officer= CO of the Master Sergeant. DO NOT possess the ability to bypass Sergeants to assume direct control of their subordinates. Included in majority votes.
-=Chief Warrant Officer=- CO of all Warrant Officers. DO NOT possess the ability to bypass Sergeants to assume direct control of their subordinates. Delivers information from higher ranking officers to platoon members. Included in majority votes.
<2nd Lieutenant> CO of Chief Warrant Officers. DO NOT possess the ability to bypass Chief Warrant Officers to assume direct control of their subordinates. Included in majority votes.
<<1st Lieutenant>> CO of 2nd Lieutenants. DO NOT possess the ability to bypass 2nd Lieutenants to assume direct control of their subordinates. Included in majority votes.
*Captain* CO of 2nd AND 1st Lieutenants. DO NOT posses the ability to bypass Leuitenants or Sergeants to assume direct control of their subordinants. Included in majority votes.
**Major** CO of all Captains. HAVE THE ABILITY TO CONTROL ALL subordinants. Included in majority votes.
***Colonel*** CO of all Majors. HAVE THE ABILITY TO CONTROL ALL subordinants. Have the ability to change squad rosters, player roles, and tactics on the fly. Included in majority votes.
****Brigadier General**** Second in chain of command. HAVE THE ABILITY TO CONTROL ALL subordinants. Have the ability to change squad rosters, player roles, and tactics on the fly. Has the ability to make changes to the Platoon by consulting with the General. Included in majority votes.
*****General***** Highest in the chain of command. Full control of all Platoon members. Has the ability to change squad rosters, player roles, and tactics on the fly. Has the ability to make changes to the Platoon that he sees fit. All decisions, regarding Platoon structure made by the General, must past a majority vote before becoming final.

*********Chain of command is the best way to maximize leadership in our Platoon. All soldiers are expected to follow this structure. All officers must understand that they have the ability to control subordinants and must respect that power. All officers should not give orders that they WOULD NOT FOLLOW THEMSELVES. Any abuse in power from officers will result in demotions or elimination from the Platoon.
