History
The team was founded in April 2009.The name of the team was Greek Special Forces.The team started from a small group of friends that they were playing Left 4 Dead.However,the admins of the team decided to expand the team's standards and very soon we penetrated in Call of Duty series,leaving behind Left 4 Dead.With that desicion some players left the team but the leaders did not stop there and they decided to recruit other players.Then, with many hours of daily training and lot of patience,GSF was one of the top European teams in this specific game community.With willingness we managed to take the second place in Clan Base Roccat Cup in Black Ops and then we took the desicion to enter in Electronic Sports League and participate actively in the European and Greek Ladders and Cups.We also created a second team for the reason that we have many players in the whole team.
Some months later we made a partnership with organisation TEAM4NOT that has sponsor AMD,G-Portal,Twitch TV,Jowst and Swoosh.As Greek Special Forces we are representing Team4not in Greece and in Europe as well and a new era for our team was just beggining.
In the middle of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 many players have left the team for different reasons.We worked hard to rebuild the whole team making it much more stronger and to place it in the top European teams list again where it should belong.Then we joined our National Lan Tournament for Modern Warfare 3,we gave our best and we conquer the 2nd place.
Both of our teams are working hard in daily bases to achieve our goals and bring the best results.Finally we decided to change our team's name from Greek Special Forces to Orion.eSports and we made this move to give our team a much better prestige in European and Greek level as well and with that change we manage to achieve the European standards for any competitive game such as Counter Striker:GO,League of Legends,Call of Duty series and much more and we are leaving behind the idea of a clan and we are entering the era of a strong organisation.
Mission
We have left behind the idea of a clan and we have entered the era of an organization.Time after time we will extend and to another games,not only Call of Duty and League of Legends.As a new organization we want to believe that we will achieve our goals with the precious help of our sponsors and partners and to be the best organization in Greece and one of the best in Europe and in the other continents as well.After changing our team's name to Orion.eSports we had to create everything that we had from the beggining such as our Facebook/Twitter pages and our Youtube Channel.Also we had to create a Live Stream Channel to stream our official matches.So it's done,TEAM4NOT gave to our team a completely new Twitch TV Channel.So with that channel we want to stream as many matches as we can and to be more specific,from our League of Legends team.Finally one of our main goals is to recruit one team in Counter Strike:Global Offensive and one team in Dota 2.We believe that we can achieve our goals as exactly we have achieved them as today.
