About the Spetsnaz:

Spetsnaz GRU is an elite Spetsnaz unit under the control of the GRU and is generally considered the best trained and most experienced special forces unit of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as evidenced by both its seniority among the Russian special forces community (Spetsnaz GRU is 27 years older than their KGB/FSB and MVD counterparts) and its reputation within the country. Unlike other special forces units, Spetsnaz GRU is known for blending in with regular army units by wearing standard paratrooper uniforms to help disguise their movements and prevent identification even from within the ranks of the Russian military.
