Platoon Presentation
Tap Up is a very close knit unit that was started by a few close friends. We are expanding our roster but our main goal is to keep the close unit environment intact. We want each member to feel like they grew up with everyone else. With this in mind we operate a bit differently. We dont care about stats or clan size or rank or status or MLG or any of that other nonsense. We care about the attitude of our people, and are they fun to game with? We play mainly Conquest or CQ DOM. We are older men, very laid back, calm and teamwork oriented.
Here are our rules.
1) Recruiting- Prospects have to be endorsed by a recruiter then voted on by the leaders. Any member can block a prospect acceptance at anytime. Your evaluation will not start until you have applied for our platoon.
2)We evaluate only two prospects at a time. We will not accept another applicant until the new guys gets accepted and has a chance to absorb into the unit. This process can take up to a week, but can take as long as needed. Its hard to join a new group if you have a bunch of new ppl trying to figure out how to fit in all at once. We arent in a hurry to grow. We welcome any interested party to apply and game with us, but it takes a few days at least to get a prospect through the process. Trust me when its your turn you will appreciate the time to get to know everyone.
3) Adults only (21+ plus). Exceptions for active miltiary personel; you guys are always welcome.
4) You must seek out current members and game with them so they can get to know you and see if you are a team oriented player. Every member's word holds weight, and any member can block membership.
5) Relax. Be yourself. Have fun.
6) We are all on a first name basis, and dont normally go by gamer tags. If this bothers you then you will be bothered. We want to know about your family/kids occupation ect but you dont have to share. You will however have to listen about ours.
7) No talk about drugs, and no racisim.
8) In order to be considered as a prospect you need to friend me [Center MA55], and tell me about yourself. Not your stats or how awesome you are at battlefield. Just tell me about who you are what kind of work you do where you are from ect. Once accepted please introduce yourself on the forum. I recommend this so we can all get to know you. No one gets left out here.
9)PTFO and play with the team. Team success and wins are the goal. Not k/d or spm. Team work leads to good stats.
10)You must have your Tap Up tag [SWAT], and not be a member of any other Platoon. We aren't "clan hoppers" here.
11) Must play in squad with other Platoon members. Your non Tap Up friends are welcome to game with us, but the clan takes priority. Again we need to play together to be effective. Americans only due to server/internet lag.
12) All Members are required to register in the Tap Up Forum, and should check it periodically. Here is the site: http://tapup.b1.jcink.com/index.php
