The Grand Pegasus Enclave
After the Great War, Equestria was plunged into a nuclear fallout. The Grand Pegasus Enclave was created to save the pegasi rave and create a safe environment for the world to fall back to after the radiation settled.
The Grand Pegasus Enclave is one of the major factions in the Wasteland, with a population consisting solely of pegasi and some <<Information Redacted>>. The entire Enclave floats in cities made of cloud, high in the sky, a policy the leaders of the pegasus community adopted after the capital city was destroyed during the Great War.

Now, the Enclave sits far beyond any other nation's reach, quietly locked away in isolation, biding its time as the diseased creatures of the land below slaughter each other.

As a whole the Enclave community is rather isolationist, preferring to keep to themselves. In fact, most countries do not even know the existence of the Enclave to begin with, sometimes even when a GPE city is floating directly above their lands! However, in the recent light of discovering that other nations do in fact exist, substantial debate has broken out in the hallowed halls of the High Council. Some factions believe that reaching out to these other nations, peacefully, is required in order for the GPE to survive as a nation. Others believe that these other nations are ripe targets for invasion, to restock the ever dwindling supplies of the GPE. Yet others are content to maintain the Enclave's hundred year old policy of isolationism to the end.

The reason for these diverse opinions aren't entirely all in good faith. Some politicians do genuinely care, but most, as usual, have ulterior motives.

Regardless of what the leaders of the Enclave truly believe, whatever path this nation takes will ultimately be based on what they find the ground to be like...
