1: BE ACTIVE: Try to be on the website and battlelog once a week (We all have lives. If you’re not going to be active post a message and explain. That simple...)
2: MIC/HEADSET: Having a headset/microphone is a necessity for joining. If you are going to acquire one soon, just let us know and we'll give you time to get it.
3: AGE: We prefer 16 + (but we may make an exception for a mature younger player)
4: PTFO: We want team players who will assist their squad-mates and help further the team's goal, not lone wolves.
5: MANNERS: Have a good attitude, be friendly, and be respectful to others in the platoon.
6: LOYALTY: You can only belong to one clan, MERC. We only allow members that are dedicated and active in MERC. No other active/serious/competitive clans. You may not participate in scheduled competitions/battles/matches against your fellow clan mates.
7: TAGS: Once you join us, it is required that you put MERC as your clan tag, to show other members that you are part of us and to represent us on the Battlefield. Wearing the tags of other serious clans/platoons is prohibited.

----------------------------------------------- Competitive Platoon Entry Requirements -------------------------------------------------

1: Necessary Unlocks:
***Prefer all classes with at least 1 service star
***All of the squad perks, at least level 35 Warrant Officer One
2: *Prefer average weapon accuracy of 10% all-time.
3: Basic knowledge of maps and strategies.
4: *Prefer members with all DLCs or Premium.
5: Must make a time commitment to attend practice sessions, matches and battles. 3 practice days a week that last 1-2 hours each.
6: Follow mic etiquette
7: Use standard call outs during matches
8: Displays a high degree of maturity
9: Displays good sportsmanship even when others do not
10: Possesses a strong sense of organization, commitment and loyalty.
11: Can listen to constructive criticism and follow verbal instruction.
12: Read and understand the requirements, Positions & Responsibilities and Hierarchy.
13: Must have a working mic/headset and use it during practices and matches
14: Complete a short application
*Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.

Applying to the competitive platoon is a two step process

STEP #1:
Apply to join the clan first following these steps:
1. Apply at http://www.silentmercenaries.com/recruitment
2. Create and enjin account if you do not have one
3. Your enjin username should be the same as your PSN ID
4. Answer a few simple questions and we will return an answer in 24hrs.
5. If approved, apply to join the competitive platoon.
