Platoon Presentation

This is 'Reaver 1'. We started playing Battlefield 3 as friends and now we come to make a 'Platoon' as to try and compete in competitions and hopefully make this 'Platoon' go far.

- XGO LIMITLESS, Reaver 1-2 Actual

Welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls to Reaver 1. We are a new platoon and are currently recruiting players who are looking for competitive yet friendly gaming environment on Xbox 360; particularly in Battlefields 3 and 4.
We are focusing on building a versatile team capable of cooperating with each other to allow each other's strengths to be recognised and made use of. Everyone of course may play with their friends but when it comes to competitive game-play members will be organised into specialised squads, that will operate at the highest possible efficiency (this may be with your friends, if you perform better with them).
Thanks.

- Archangel_1497, Reaver 1-1 Actual.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

1. At no time shall anyone abuse other players whether they are in the platoon or not . This includes but is not limited to: swearing at others, making sexual remarks towards somebody, repetitive mimicking, constantly talking over the top of someone, threatening physical harm and making offensive remarks whether be racial, religious, gender based etc.
Granted, if the persons (victim(s) and perpetrator(s)) are okay with it than the case will be dropped. However, if you do this during competitive game-play or to others outside the community you may suffer consequences.
This will consist of the perpetrator's loss of a leadership position if they are in one, and possible removal from the platoon.

NOTE: These rules apply through any number of means or mediums. It may be messaging others on Battlelog, communicating through voice chat in a party or in a game, or even on social media or personal contacts i.e. phone and so on.

2. Listen to and respect those above you in a leadership position. This doesn't necessarily mean obey your leaders' orders in a game (if he is even there). If you find your leader's orders to be irrational or selfish than you may reject these orders and they must respect your decision.
If, however, it is a competitive game (for which the leader should be there) it is mandatory that you obey your leader's orders, for it is THEIR responsibility for the outcome of the match. Leaders that are incompetent or have too many complaints about them (i.e. for being selfish, abusive, or purposely ruining a game for team members) will lose their leadership position. Likewise, if other member's in the squad act the same they may lose their position in their squad, especially if they are playing competitively.

3. No trolling others in the platoon or anyone when playing competitively (in other words, no: tea-bagging, repetitively shooting a dead body, stealing vehicles, intentionally blowing up empty friendly vehicles etc) . We want to be taken seriously and not give ourselves a bad reputation.

4. Players must have their clan-tags reading their callsign which they have, when at least playing competitively (for example my clan-tag is R11A, standing for Reaver 1-1 Actual).

5. Good luck and have fun!

STEPS FOR PEOPLE JOINING:

1# APPLYING

When applying for the platoon you must message me, Archangel, on either Xbox or on here giving me a reason why you want to join and what you'll offer to the platoon. You will then be selected to join on this basis.

2# LEADER OR NOT?

Do you want to be a Squad Leader? If so you're going to have to apply like you have to for joining. Just send me a message as explained above but this time reasons why you want to be a squad leader, what you'll bring to the table, and what if any experience you've had in leadership roles including the use of tactics. Please then also add me on Xbox or give me your email address so then I can contact you. You'll then need to play a private match where you're leadership skills will be tested. If you are good enough you'll then pass.

3# SQUADS

You will then be assigned to a squad (or be assigned a squad if you're a leader) by myself, Archangel_1497, or by another leader, which will be represented by a number (i.e. Squad 2 represented by "2").
If you are joining a squad you will temporarily be placed in a squad which isn't full and other will be placed in the same one until there are 4 (BF3) or 5 (BF4) members. If you are a leader you will be temporarily put in a squad without a leader or given a new squad named +1 higher than the previous squad's name (e.g. Squad 4 or "4" if Squad 3 or "3" already exists, this is further explained in callsigns). These squad are temporary and will change depending on if you desperately want to be with friends, how well you get along with certain people, and how well you perform with certain people.
Some squads will be made into competitive squads aiming to dominate the multiplayer world and other platoons/clans, some will just be social squads where the squad plays in a laid back relaxed environment and while some will be a mixture.

4# CALL-SIGNS

Now that you're in your squad you must write your call-sign in your profile's presentation on this site and also in your bio on Xbox, preferably as your motto (the Xbox part is optional). You're call-sign is as determined below:

Archangel_1497's Call-sign:
Reaver 1-1 Actual

Lets look at the part before the hyphen. All players in the platoon will have "Reaver 1" at the start of it their call-sign. This indicates they are of the platoon.
The second number corresponds to what squad you belong to in the platoon. For example mine is "1" for I am in Squad 1.
Now the last part indicates your squad identity number. Although, you may have noticed mine says "Actual", this means that I am the commander of the squad. However, for people that are just squad members they have a number instead ranging from 2-4 (2-5 when Battlefield 4 comes out due to it allowing 5 members into a squad). Your number depends on the order in which you join a squad. For instance, the third person to join is "3" (They can tell there are already two others as the highest number present before they join is "2").

Thus when putting it all together:

Reaver 1(Platoon)-1(Squad) Actual(Squad Identity Number) OR Reaver 1-1 Actual.

Remember about your clan-tag now. My mine is then: [R11A]

5# PLAY!

Join up with your squad (optional of course) and play some Battlefield!
