Originally created the platoon mainly to allow Family and Friends to game together.

However, I noticed that most were using 58th_ in front of their name, but they weren't all in a platoon, though some were in the 58th Regiment platoon. (Also in a group on Steam with 58th.) So I re-purposed this one to allow people to connect as one group in BF3 on our server, while keeping their favoured 58th_ Tag.
We are now a brother-platoon to the 58th Regiment, which I also recently joined.
