Introduction

Welcome to A.K.A Platoon. We are a Platoon dedicated to working as a team to achieve various objectives for positive progression of each member as an individual. We absolutely pride ourselves on respecting the privacy and rights of each and every individual who joins our group. We try as much as possible to ensure that we are recruiting mature and level headed people. It is greatly encouraged that you show consideration to fellow Platoon members by being kind, courteous, and giving a helping hand should such an opportunity arise. Please make it a priority to respect Platoon members regardless of Race, Creed, Color, Religion, or beliefs. You must respect Admins & Hera's at all times, failure to do so will lead to a unanimous vote of your eventual removal from the team. Our motto is to have fun, meet new and exciting individuals, and help one another in the mean time!

Prologue

That we are living in a society whose thoughts increasingly are centered upon the prospect of war should require little demonstration. Aside from the Exodus, Viking conquests, Persian wars, Ottoman wars, Ancient Maya Warfare, Roman wars, American-Indian wars, Civil war, the Roman Catholic Inquisition, World war 1 & 2, the Holocaust, atomic bombing of Hiroshima Japan, war in Afghanistan, and Invasion of Iraq just to name a few... we have a menacing spectacle of feverish armament building in virtually every quarter of the world. The prospect of war is a matter of profound concern to such pacifically minded people as the Scandinavian, Dutch, Asian, Arabic, Swiss, French, Russian, English, and American, whose leaders have persuaded them that; "cannon are more beautiful than words." That it is better to be a "LION" for a day, than a "SHEEP" for a century! Whether one gazes from our eastern or our western windows, the prospect is far from pleasant. One beholds nations feverishly building bombing planes, battleships, long range missiles, nuclear weapons, tanks, submarines, drones, and other instruments of wholesale destruction. Boys, girls, men, and women drilling in preparation for military duty in the coming wars. Scientist seeking newer deadlier gases, and biological means. Experts eagerly watching the performance of tanks, planes, and flamethrowers in countries such as Spain or Ethiopia with an eye to more
effective utilization in the event for a real war. Peoples ground down by the heavy burden of maintaining their vast military and naval establishments. The public systematically taught through institutions, media, political agendas, and religions; to hate their neighbors through carefully devised governmental, and corporate propaganda. Everyone feels as I have remarked to all whom have an ear to listen, and the awareness of understanding; "that the world is moving toward perhaps a tragic fate." It is therefore my duty and a privilege to all warring masses... to bring unto you a fierce competitor with much conviction and mature steadfast(that you may come to know the fury, and wrath of true warriors), "Arielillyriani with A.K.A"; to aid in any pain, suffering, and depredation you have brought forth upon your person because of lack for humanity or any compassion as such. That you may know full well the folly, imperfection, and hindsight of your barbaric humanistic shortcoming endeavors. In short... "You must be prepared to die, and die again!"

A.K.A. Serenata

We retain our youth from the fountain, never will we falter or be weak. We are "Acmes Killer Army", at the top of the mountain, on the highest peak. We drew a line across the dirt at the forefront of your feet, obnoxious mind Neanderthal mime, your failure to take heed. Darkness overcomes thee at your finest hour, mans future looking bleak. Unsheathed sword, it's metal beads thy blood, we held on steadfast till the opening, and overcame the flood. So where then are thy Gods in your hour of need? Shaken is the ground before thee, as certain as the fall. Mercy fled on bended knee, drink simplicity the gall. Come O' Ensemble... the funeral awaits, we entered into thy grave, faces gaunt, and idle chatter of laughter, the dirt from our soles we left at the gates, withering blossoms cradling the nave. We are "Acmes Killer Army" risen from ashes of the fallen, We are as the dew bead upon the carpel, inamorata open thyself thine life anew, stamen halo illuminate, and capitulate the walls infinite sparkle.

(Loyalty)
Bear true faith and allegiance to the A.K.A. platoon. Respect rules set forth by your leaders, your unit and each other as a whole. Bearing true faith and allegiance is a matter of believing in and devoting yourself to something or someone. A loyal Soldier is one who supports the leadership and stands up for fellow Soldiers. By wearing the brand of the A.K.A Fulfill you are expressing your loyalty. Likewise by doing your share, you show your loyalty to your unit.

(Duty)

Fulfill your obligations. Doing your duty means more than carrying out your assigned tasks. Duty means being able to accomplish tasks as part of a team. The work of A.K.A is a complex combination of missions, tasks and responsibilities — all in constant motion. Our work entails building one assignment onto another. You fulfill your obligations as a part of your unit every time you resist the temptation to take “shortcuts” that might undermine the integrity of the final product.

(Respect)

Treat people as they should be treated. In the Soldier's Code, we pledge to “treat others with dignity and respect while expecting others to do the same.” Respect is what allows us to appreciate the best in other people. Respect is trusting that all people have done their jobs and fulfilled their duty. Self-respect is a vital ingredient with the A.K.A. brand of values, which results from knowing you have put forth your best effort. The A.K.A platoon is a team of individuals standing in together to create a whole, and each of us has something to contribute.

(Selfless Service)

Put the welfare of the A.K.A. guild, and your subordinates before your own. Selfless service is larger than just one person. In serving your platoon as a whole, you are doing your duty loyally without thought of recognition or gain. The basic building block of selfless service is the commitment of each team member to go a little further, endure a little longer, and look a little closer to see how he or she can add to the effort.

(Honor)

Live up to A.K.A. values. The nation’s highest military award is The Medal of Honor. This award goes to Soldiers who make honor a matter of daily living — Soldiers who develop the habit of being honorable, and solidify that habit with every value choice they make. Honor is a matter of carrying out, acting, and living the values of respect, duty, loyalty, selfless service, integrity and personal courage in everything you do.

(Integrity)

Do what’s right, legally and morally. Integrity is a quality you develop by adhering to moral principles. It requires that you do and say nothing that deceives others. As your integrity grows, so does the trust others place in you. The more choices you make based on integrity, the more this highly prized value will affect your relationships with family and friends, and, finally, the fundamental acceptance of yourself.

(Personal Courage)

Face fear, danger or adversity (physical or moral). Personal courage has long been associated with our Platoon. With physical courage, it is a matter of enduring physical duress and at times risking personal safety. Facing moral fear or adversity may be a long, slow process of continuing forward on the right path, especially if taking those actions is not popular with others. You can build your personal courage by daily standing up for and acting upon the things that you know are honorable.

Due to our no nonsense approach on just about everything in general, our numbers unfortunately have dwindled from over one hundred members down to only a few - but rest assured we shall reconnect with like minded individuals whom share our same values and our numbers will once again begin to multiply. Out of respect for members who really put in their hard work and want to belong to a group dedicated to each other, we all have the awareness and understanding to stick together through adversity, knowing well that the weak shall be weeded out for the greater good of all remaining members as a whole. The ones who remain loyal to our Platoon are the few who continue to show great character and an obligation to A.K.A. You reward yourselves daily by helping others and enjoy the fruits of you labor when all have gained your trust and confide in you for their well being. Cheers!

Golden Rule: We do not at any time or under any circumstance, alter or change our platoon tags on any occasion. This violation to our loyalty for one another, is grounds for immediate removal from our platoon.
