BF Pug community
Platoon Presentation
The concept of the pug community.
Pug is a ‘community system’ used by many games that are fps based. It is used by the community of a whole game, which involves players from all around the world.
The whole idea of this is to do clan wars with people you or don’t know.
Why would we use a ‘pug’ system?
Good question. Let’s take as an example that you’re in a platoon, but at the moments you are online and want to play with people, there is nobody at that exact moment to play with and you are sick of the people in random public servers that don’t revive, doesn’t drop any ammo/medpacks or whatever. You want to play more competitive, but you can’t, because you can’t do a clan war. There’s where the pug community comes in handy.
How does it work?
The pug community is made competitive, and since it will start small probably, you set the game modes to tdm, conquest infantery or rush in a private server.
You basically go to a Teamspeak server and go to a waiting room. Once there are, let’s say 10 players to do a 5vs5, there will be picked 2 random team leaders. These team leaders will each pick their players, until there’s no one left. Once they have done that, the teams will go to a separate channel, and connect to the server.
Sounds good! Where can I start?
Currently I’m busy with getting a 50 slot teamspeak server and I need to get a private server running(not familiar with this).
(please contact me if you own a TS-server/private server you want to put available for pugging).
Any info will come soon.
BUT!!!, in the meanwhile…
If you are interested in this concept of community system, I would like to invite everyone to join this platoon, so you know who else you can always play with:
