Before Battlefield 3 my favorite online military shooter was SOCOM 3 on the PS2. SOCOM 4 was released and I got it. Something was missing and it looked to me like their franchise may not make it much longer. What was missing from SOCOM 4? Vehicles. Then Battlefield 3 came along and made it all better again.
