Name origins: The name spawns from the beast Garm from Norse mythology stories. The mistranslation stems from the game "Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War" as the 6th Air Division, 66th Air Force Unit, Galm Team, whose extensive efforts during the Belkan War spawned their own myths and legends.
Garm guards the gates of Hel in the mythological tale of Ragnarok, a series of events much like Revelations in the christian bible.
This branch of Visual Zero Virtue will be known for their rugged defense, and their even stronger offense, when it comes to the gates of Hel. Comprised of the best that VzV has to offer on PS3, Galm Team specializes in small-squad tactics, next generation communication, and overwhelming pressure to the enemy.

Galm Team - The Knights of the Round Table.
Galm 1 "Cipher" (MIA), Galm 2 "Pixy" (MIA), and Galm 2 "PJ" (KIA) were the original members of Galm Team, tasked with the defense of Ustian Airspace during the legendary Belkan War that engulfed Strangereal into chaos. Galm Team specialized in Direct Action Aerial Operations during the war and spearheaded critical missions, including the domination of Airspace B7R. Over time, Galm 1, whose callsign is "Cipher" received the nickname "Demon Lord" during his actions in the war. His best friend, and wingman, Pixy, went AWOL MIA during the war. The new addition, PJ, was added to the team, but due to events during the aftermath of the Belkan War, he is now considered Killed In Action. (Ace Combat Zero short synopsis)
