The Bamboo Bar server has now been taken over to a couple of new owners in case you were wondering about the old server.
We aim to keep our server running in Ranked mode with the classic preset as our community likes.
Depending on the amount of players playing on our server, we may temporarily be forced to switch to Official mode to fill up the server. This is due to the 'quickmatch' feature and the fact that people tend to avoid Ranked servers due to admin abuse on other servers.
We hope the community stays active enough for us to keep running the server.

The balance in BF4 isn't anything new and certainly isn't limited to our server only.
There are times the auto-balancer does a pretty good job, and then there are times when it simply doesn't. And then there are maps such as Metro who don't really take balance into account.
Some servers are more balanced due to the fact that they balance players based on tag, requiring players to use one specific tag. Or the fact that only skilled players play against eachother, having more 'professional' level matches.
We like to give players more freedom in this sense, not requiring a tag or give up their playtime with friends they want to play with. Yes this comes with a balance penalty.
Generally this is typical BF4 behaviour, nothing we can really do about. There is no such thing as perfect balance on BF4 as long as maps are not exactly symmetric and players all have the same skill level.

Try a server like 'The Banana Republic'. Everytime you and your friends play good the server will split u. Basicly the server punish u for playing too good in a team. This can`t be the point of balancing. Battlefield always rewards the guys that playing good together. The balancer does the exact opposite.

jesus you banned me for what? being in red zone when I was at B on dawn breaker flag by YOUR BASE you seriously need to get a grip. I wasnt the red zone fella I was telling you who he was. fair play you cant play or admin for toffee.
