On February 23rd, 1836. One hundred and eighty-two men, fought off four thousand Mexican soldiers for thirteen days. Facing overwhelming odds they refused to surrender. They did it for freedom. Freedom for all Texans. They took their stand in the Alamo. A Catholic mission just out side of San Antonio. They gave up their lives to defend our freedom and for that we honour them with this name:"The Alamo Allies"
