This platoon is for those who know their way around a tank and how to use theirs in battle to the fullest. I'm not afraid to admit it, but I daydream a lot when I'm bored or something isn't satisfying enough for me. The name of this platoon, "Project Katyusha", is from one of my daydreams that I return to the most. It involves a project to create 'sentient' tanks. Tanks that could operate themselves if any or all of the crew members got killed and could serve as a companion to those soldiers with mental instabilities, such as PTSD, and give them the will to keep fighting. The first to be built in this project was Tank Destroyer #8. The A.I. put into the tank destroyer was female, and she was named after the project, which was also named after a Russian folk song. However, she is an American T110E3 Tank Destroyer, a model of tank originally from a different project that was canceled, and her name was put onto her in Russian, thus, deciding to complete the look, I put on the yellow hammer-and-sickle on a red background. The next to be built were the Sherman Twins, M4 Sherman Medium Tanks #83 & #92. They are the only Shermans in the project. #83 is a male and #92 is female. The difference between #92 & #83 is that #92 is the only one of the twins that is equipped with a Calliope Rocket Launcher Assembly. It is rare to find them far away from each other, but their duties sometimes call for it. Next were Tanks #75, #48, and #26, but were built in numerical order. All three of these tanks are modern heavy tanks or as some like to call them, Main Battle Tanks. #26 is a Male Russian T90A Main Battle Tank, or MBT for short. #48 is a Male American M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank. #75 is a Female Chinese Type 99 Main Battle Tank. That's pretty much the backstory. Each platoon member will be able to choose which tank's emblem they wish to have. If you can't find or can't use the emblem you want, then I will find a way to get it to you. You can choose from any of the six tanks listed above. They are Katyusha, #8, which so far is the only one to get an official name, #83, #92, #48, #26, and #75. The link to get the tank emblem you want is listed next to the tank's number here:
