Hey all, please see post on forum about fun get together for this weekend on PS4 with MoGZ, either Saturday or Sunday depending on what's best for everyone. Will include rooftop knife-off's, wacky races, C4 roulette & C4 high jump competition plus anything else we can think of.

Will be a good laugh before Destiny comes out :)

What we look for in a Competitive player?

No Raging – Players who rage easily are not going to excel here. We need players who can focus and keep their emotions in check. Raging brings down morale and is an inefficient use of comms.

No Drama – Running a comp team requires difficult choices. Who is good enough? Who isn’t? What players should play this week? Who needs to work on their game? We ask that players understand this and don’t make it more difficult for the leaders. We are looking for players that don’t mind being benched. That can take criticism without flipping out. That won’t blame fellow players if we lose a game. In return we promise to be sensitive if a player needs to be benched. We will be discrete when pointing out ways in which your game can improve.

Communication (comms) – We will be looking for players who can communicate well. Using chat only to relay information relevant to the matter at hand. Being efficient with your info, not over communicating. Players also need to be able to listen to intel and orders and then react appropriately.

Good Infantry Skills – Comp play is all about infantry skills. You need to have good reaction times and good target acquisition at multiple ranges. 1v1 gun fights will be common and you need to be able to come out on top.

Resolve – Expect to die a lot. Expect to have to pick yourself up and go again. Understand that in the final moments of a match when you’re down 20 tickets and they have the bleed that you can get a triple kill and cap a base to stop that bleed. We need clutch players, and clutch players never know they’re beaten. We need people strong of will and heart.

Tactical Awareness – A strong understanding of the ebb and flow of the battlefield. Whether to defend and hold a base or push to another one. Where your teammates are and what angles they are not covering so you can plug the holes. This kind of thinking is essential.
