Southern Cross Gaming Veterans
*****INTRO*****
Welcome to the Southern Cross Gaming Veterans platoon on Battlelog.
We are a new platoon who have just opened and will soon open the platoon in other games like Planet Side 2 and much more. We will be on PC as well as PS4.
We are a friendly community and will accept most applicants depending on their age and level of maturity.
*****RULES*****
S.C.G.V platoon are seeking to have fun on battlefield by playing as a team.
~ We do not tolerate disrespect towards each other or other players. If one is found disrespecting any other player he will be given a written down warning and if it happens again you will be asked to leave the platoon.
~No "winging" or "wining" will be tolerated when the player gets killed, we accept death and defeat in this platoon as we are playing to have fun.
~Applicants need to be at the age of 15 or older to apply.
*****REQUIREMENTS*****
~Members need to have a premium account.
~Members should not have an issue with playing "hardcore" as that is our main game mode.
~Microphone.
~Play regularly, if members do not play after a month without reason the player will be removed from the platoon. Players can re-apply if they have a reason as to why they were offline for such a time period.
*****SKRIM*****
Once the platoon has enough players we will start to practice certain roles which are assigned to each player, once this has been accomplished we will start skrimming and playing against other platoons.
*****ROLES*****
In this platoon we stick with our squad, we don't run around like in COD every man for himself kind of stuff, we help each other out no matter what the cost.
So you will be assigned to a squad with a certain role and you will probably or hopefully make friends with those people in that squad, that is the squad that you will remain with 75% of the time that you play this game.
You will have the joy of choosing your role which you will practice on (eg: medic) and thats what you will always play as when with your squad.
~Ground squads:
- x1 Assault
- x1 Engineer
- x1 Support
- x1 Recon
- +1 Whatever your squad needs extra of (your squad will decide on this)
~Armor Team:
There will be a driver and gunner for each tank or armored vehicle on the map. You will need to apply for this and depending on your skill you will be accepted or not. You will automatically qualify if no one else volunteers for this position.
~Air support:
Like with the armored team there will also be a team in the sky, a player in each jet and helicopter, again you will get to volunteer for this position.
*****ROLE DETAILS*****
~Assault: You are required to revive your squad mates/ team mates no matter what the cost is. Usually you would not take point when moving with your squad, you should stay back and allow your squad to move in to combat areas first so that you can revive them if they are killed.
~Engineer: Usually you carry some sort of rocket launcher to take out armored targets as well as AT mines for the same purpose.
~Support: Carry a machine gun around to suppress the enemy and allow your squad to move in to a better position. You will also need to be careful of taking point as you need to stay alive to supply ammunition to your squad.
~Recon: This is the only squad member who doesn't usually run around with his squad, you will usually find a vantage point to watch over your squad and speak to them telling them what they are about to run in to. You also will take out any targets that are difficult for your squad to reach.

Please take note that you are not required to only play by these rules and roles, that can be very frustrating and unfair. This is only for when we have a lot of members playing together, it just makes it more fun that way. Although you should practice the class you have chosen for when it comes to putting it to use when you HAVE to use it. If you ever want to change your role just let everyone know and maybe someone will be willing to swap theirs with yours.
