Kerveros in Greek mythology was a three-headed dog with a serpent's tail, a mane of snakes, and a lion's claws. It guards the entrance of the underworld, known as Hades, to prevent the deads to escape and the alives to enter.

In this game Kerveros uses to play as "defender" too. None of the alives is escaping alive from his protected area.
