"Tootsie Rolls" - Code name for 60mm mortar ammunition.
Back in WWI Marines requested a supply of "Tootsie Rolls" but the radio operator didn't know the code name "Tootsie Rolls". So the operator followed the command order and sent tons of Tootsie Rolls (the food) instead of 60mm mortar ammo. Even though the Marines didn't get their mortar ammo the Tootsie Rolls gave them energy to fight in the freezing cold battle. (True Story)
