DTA – Deadly Tactical Assault

DTA was formed in December of 2011, by t0li3t_SPID3R, nightrider42174, and mfitch1983.
Three players, that happened to meet randomly while playing online. As more online enemies were eliminated, the trio soon found themselves winning more matches together as a team on a regular basis. They soon realized they shared common traits essential to winning; teamwork, communication, and playing objectives appropriately. They also possessed common ideals about individual behavior while playing online with others; respect for players that show the same, respect for the game and its integrity (no hacking or glitching), and whether win or lose…do it with class. All these factors, combined with uncommon skill and ability, led to the idea of starting a gaming community with others that share the same mindset.

The founders soon secured a website domain within the enjin (www.enjin.com) hosting community. With dtaclan.com in its infancy, they offered membership to PS3™ and XBOX™ players with Call of Duty™ -Black Ops. With the popularity of Call of Duty™- Black Ops, combined with multi-platform players, dtaclan.com exploded with new members. As time went on, DTA started offering more games and enlistment continued to swell over 200+ members. As with any clan, members came and went, some contributed and are still active to this day. Inactive members, those who haven’t logged into the website within 30 days of registering, were eventually stripped of their membership and purged from the website in an effort to keep only the most active members. Fast forward to present, we have over 40 active members and support Call of Duty™-MW, MW2, MW3, Black Ops and Black Ops2, as well as Battlefield 3™ for PS3™ and XBOX™. We will also add more games as members show interest.

DTA is different from most gaming clans:

Things we are NOT:

Hyper Competitive - We do not care how high or low your KDR is!
Pay to Play - We do not require you help fund our website or game servers (although donations are appreciated!)
Cheaters - We do not hack, glitch, boost, mod, or anything considered acts of douche-baggery.
Trolls or Flamers - This is self explanatory, we’d rather play the game than fool around.

Things we ARE:

Respectful - We show respect, when the same courtesy is shown to us.
Competitive - When you work as a team, communicate and play objectives, winning is a result we all enjoy.
Helpful - We were all new once, we will lend our experience to help you along the way.
Disciplined - We follow a strict code of conduct, ethics and honor.
